While I was in Cusco, I’ve tried different places to stay and I have to admit that Rumi Punku Hotel was the best. I was tired because of the altitude and the few months traveling, and it was a perfect spot to rest while being in the city center and close to the most important places of interest.

The staff was adorable and very helpful, they are more that willing to help with everything you need, including tours, even to Machu Picchu. The room was comfortable, the bed was amazing, the shower was hot and with good water pressure (very rare in Cusco!) and buffet breakfast was delicious.
What I mostly appreciated is the numerous little private patios and terrasses in the hotel, where I could enjoy the sun and read. Also, some of the walls are original Inca walls, which makes the experience so much more authentic.
I really recommend this hotel, it’s a perfect mix between culture, elegance and comfort!
