Banana’s Adventure hostel was a very good experience! To be honest, I had had a couple of hard days and I really needed a nice place to relax. I’m happy I went at this hostel, it was perfect! Very clean, people working there were very nice and effective, and the place is very nice, especially with the pool. The pool is a bit small so you have to wake up early to get a chair, but it’s totally worth it.
And the price… the price! It only costs 65 soles for a bed in a 4 bed dorm, an activity and breakfast. First of all, the breakfast is not just bread and jam, it’s actually pancakes or eggs, which is very much appreciated. Second, you get to choose one activity between: dunebuggy and sandboarding, pisco and wine tasting, BBQ dinner or Islas Ballestas and Nacional Reserve in Paracas. I’d already been to Paracas and visited a winery in Ica, so I chose the dunebuggy and sandboarding, and I was not disappointed!
You can also book an extra activity. I enjoyed the BBQ dinner. It’s cooked on the terrasse, you can choose between quinua or chicken/meet burger, and served with fresh vegetables, fried potatoes and other tasty sides. It will cost 25 extra soles, but it’s worth it!
